Ame Toronto, a shower of taste
In Canada, he's a celebrity. His name is Guy Rubino and he owns three restaurants and runs an international TV show. To survive the current crisis, he has reinvented the Asian restaurant Rain in Toronto, giving it the new name of Ame, which stands for rain in Japanese.

In addition to revolutionising the menu, making it more reasonable yet without losing any of its finesse, Guy Rubino and his brother Michael have renewed the look of the Japanese diner, by creating a space able to merge tradition and modernity, warmth, spaciousness and elegance.

Conceived by a pioneer of the nightlife such as Charles Khabouth and with interiors modelled at the hand of designer Munge Leung with his graphic partners Device222, Ame aims at being a 360° experience in Japanese gastronomy.

Its oak door onto Mercer Street grants customers access to a hidden temple of cocktails, sake and new interpretations of an ancient universe of recipes and delicate, sober and simple flavours. Just like the interiors and the furnishings, which are however played on the high-impact contrasts and compositions.
