Waking up to the sound of waves
A multiplex cinema, six maxi-screens and the sea stretching out before you on a summer morning. This isn't a Jacques Cousteau film. It's the ocean on the coastal outskirts of Cape Town saying good morning to you.

You rub your eyes amid the sheets because you've never heard the sound of waves lapping against your bedroom and to discover that no, you're not lying on the beach, and you won't get your toes wet in the surf. Well, not yet at least…

Because the beach is beneath the terrace of one of six luxury family apartments, designed by the SAOTA (Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects) studio, on Clifton Beach, in the famous Atlantic Seaboard district in Cape Town, South Africa.

3D cinema, the celebration of synthetic sensations promised by flat-screen TV ads in your living room at home don't touch you. Try to caress a terrace overlooking the Ocean, the light at sunset flooding the interior of your apartment as though the horizon had never been broken by the walls of a hotel. What touches you the most?
