Fairtrade jewellery
Ute Decker, among the first jewel designers in the world to create jewels with fair trade gold, returns to exhibiting at London Jewellery Week from 6th until 12th June.

The German designer will present her “PURE” minimalist collection in Fair trade gold, together with her wearable sculptures in recycled silver.

A collection which has already won a large number of international awards, and for which she was voted the most inspired jewel designer in the United Kingdom in 2010.

Combining dynamic, simple and organic shapes with surfaces featuring refined textures, Ute Decker creates art design pieces and limited editions bathed in timeless elegance.

Part of the proceeds of the gold used for the collection will go to the activities of the small community of miners in Colombia Oro Verde.

Oro Verde is a new form of mining craftsmanship, which is sustainable and socially responsible, which aims at preserving the unique and vital ecosystem of the rainforest, while retaining an honest and regular remuneration of the production community.
