Beware of the jelly
"Light & Jelly" resembles the Blob, a ravenous gelatin fluid from the movie by Yearworth. But this time it hungers for lamps and displays a minimalist design courtesy of Fabrice Fouillet and Le Creative Sweatshop.

Imagine a lava lamp that is tired of moving paraffin globules inside its glass casing and decides to escape its confines.
What happens next could be narrated by a writer of science fiction or, if you prefer, the Parisian trio composed of Fabrice Fouillet (photographer of still life and fashion editorials), Julien Morin and Mathieu Missiaen (Le Creative Sweatshop).

Their jelly compost solidifies into prismatic shapes surrounding modern lamps ("Nessimo" by Artemide, "Castore" by Artemide, "Binic" by Ionna Vautrin), swallowing them up and filtering their light through its semitransparent entrails of psychedelic hues.

The result is a project that absorbs and transforms contemporary designer pieces in an installation-collaboration that involves photography, product and set design.
