In the renaissance setting of the Chiostro del Bramante, in Rome, the new multidisciplinary project of Double, a mix between fashion and architecture, takes shape. It’s called "NU:S", from an idea of Antonella Buono.
"NU:S" is an installation that puts together young excellences of Italian creativity. Apart from its creator
Antonella Buono, it also sees the participation of architects
Maurizio Degni and Arturo Tedeschi, computational designer and author of book
Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper, fashion designers
Flavia Migani,
Simone Bruno and
Chiara Cola and footwear designer
Alessio Spinelli, winner of the Who’s On Next 2011 competition in the Accessories category.
A choral work that suggests an expressive and productive manifesto based on the integration of traditional design tools with parametric processes elaborated by computer, a powerful system of investigation and formal experimentation for any artistic discipline.
The installation is composed of 4 complete garments and 2 pairs of shoes placed inside a parametric sculpture in constant dialogue with the surrounding expository space.
A multidisciplinary experience that also sees the musical contribution of
Davide Severi and a documentation of the entire creative process with videos by Francesco Ricci.
