Denim, mon amour

Cascades of denim, bursts of jeans, stone washed or faded plumage. "Persona", the new project between art and fashion by Jeffrey Wang, recycles Levi's into sculptures to wear.
Jeffrey Wang, founder and director of the creative platform Blanq World, is an old acquaintance of Lancia TrendVisions. He is back under the limelight with a project in collaboration with Levi's and the Taiwanese Fubon Art Foundation.

Wang is a master at the art of recycling, and without any sartorial work on the jeans, he manages to put together statuary garments joined together with simple safety pins.

Every pair of trousers is a cerulean wave in the drapery of the Korean stylist-artist, who in "Persona" carves out five garments while retaining the worn weft and the coarse personality of recycled denim. While the shapes appear to be ready to take flight.
