Next stop: decadence

Everything rusts, but not real style. With this motto we set sail aboard a ship that has been corroded by time on the photo shoot of Mirko G. Di Brandimarte’s collection for Spring/Summer 2012.

Like the ghosts of passengers of yore. We observe these provocative travelers, veiled in light fabrics that fly in the wind, enriched by precious lace, flowers and feathers.

Decadence is a mood that captured Italian fashion designer Mirko G. Di Brandimarte’s imagination. In his Spring/Summer collection his idea of femininity comes into contact with air, but is more solid than iron, that oxidizes and falls apart with time.

Born in 1978 in the region of Abruzzo, Mirko G. Di Brandimarte graduated at Koefia International Academy of high fashion and art costume in Rome.

In this collection he offers a delicate and elegant palette thanks to the prevalence of pastel colors. Like in his previous work, we discover garments inspired by personal emotions and experiences, all hand-made using sophisticated working techniques.
