Sarah Kelly's paper stars
At first glance you can't tell what material they're made of. Then you touch them and understand that with simplicity, technology and ideas, elaborate jewellery can even be made of paper. This is Sarah Kelly's idea.

Saloukee is a brand of luxury jewellery made of paper. Its art director is Sarah Kelly. She graduated in 3D design, silver working and jewellery from Loughborough University with honours in 2005.

Sarah started her career as a freelance artist in London, Paris and Amsterdam, and her jewellery has been donned by artists of the calibre of Angelina Jolie.

But it was in 2008 that the British designer decided to fulfil her creative dream and start her own design company. Since then she has made precious paper sculptures for fashion designers such as Vera Wang and Lori Goldstein.

Since 2008 the Saloukee brand has continued to grow thanks to Sarah, who continues to forge innovative jewellery designed and made in Great Britain.

Many of her pieces include hundreds of rivets, intricate laser cuts and folds conceived by the designer herself.

Sarah Kelly won the Jewellers' Association Award for Excellence. The judges described her jewels as
"objects of timeless beauty".
